The building was an eyesore (the shipping containers replacing it are worse!), but the bureaucratic ‘logic’ of officialdom is what appealed to me: Selling fish right beside a sign prohibiting fishing!

Careful alignment of the ‘eye socket’ hole of this prehistoric creature with a bright granite stone in the background results in a terrifying beast that we should all be fearful of!

- [Uncomfortable](https://jameskeogh.com/product/uncomfortable/): I took this badly-painted Nelly bicycle that was on the grounds of the old Norman Carrickmines castle, unearthed during the M50 motorway development around 20 years ago. Unfortunately, the state of the bike is symbolic of how our archeological heritage was trampled upon in the name of ‘progress’.  The German’s have a succinct name for such progress – Schlimmbesserung.

However, when presented with vibrant or unusual colours, such as this wonderful jade green sea with plenty of splashing, it would be wrong to not make some humble attempt to capture and share it with those unlucky enough not to to bear witness to such beauty.
